What is a tapas tour?
Tapa is a small portion of food. It could range from toasts with fancy or not too fancy toppings, mini sandwiches and hamburgers to small dishes of food. Everything edible in a small quantity is a tapa. A Tapas Tour is when instead of having a full three course meal in a restaurant you munch on tapas and drinks in several different restaurants. It’s fun!
My two favorite places to do that is at the Calle Cava Baja in the neighborhood of La Latina and at Barrio de las Letras, close to Plaza Santa Ana.
Tip: Try to reach those places on foot from wherever you are in the city center. Ie: Atocha, Prado, Barrio de las Letras, Sol, Callao, La Latina, Malasaña, Chueca. If you are in one of these places and need to go to another place in this list, do it on foot and enjoy the sightseeing. 😉
